Johan Botes is a director of our Employment practice specialising in employment law and labour relations. Johan is an internationally accredited Change Management practitioner. He has a Masters Degree in Labour Law, and regularly appears in the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, Labour Court and High Court.

Career

Johan began his career with South African Airways, first as a flight attendant, then as cabin crew manager, employee relations manager and finally as senior manager employee relations. Johan joined Hofmeyr Herbstein and Ghiwala (now Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr) as a candidate attorney in 2005 and became a director in 2007.
