In November 2005, Cliffe Dekker (now Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr)
entered into an exclusive alliance with DLA Piper, one of the largest legal
services organisations in the world, and became a member of the global DLA
Piper Group.
With the signing of this alliance, Cliffe Dekker, at that time,
became the first South African law firm to enter into an exclusive relationship
with a truly global legal services organisation, operating across Africa, Asia,
Europe, the Middle East and the US.
